Medical quote + flights for every traveler + hotel room-nights × nightly rate + meals per person × travelers × days + party transport per day × days + extra medical transport + support hours × hourly rate + other costs. Your chosen reserve is added to that subtotal. Costs marked as included in the medical quote are not added again.
What if I am already coming to China?
The added medical budget includes your quote, extra hotel room-nights, added daily spending days, extra medical transport, support and other medical-related costs, plus your selected reserve. Base-trip flights, hotel and daily spending appear only in the full-trip view. If medical plans change your flight fare, add that difference to other medical-related costs.
Are the starting amounts typical prices?
No. The city selections are editable planning scenarios, not researched averages or hospital prices. Enter current accommodation prices, fares and service quotes. No medical price, recovery period, insurance reimbursement or saving versus another country is assumed.
What should I check with the hospital?
Ask whether the quote includes consultations, tests, procedures, medicines, anesthesia, inpatient room charges, follow-up appointments and taxes. Check exclusions, possible additional tests, payment and refund terms, and how long the quote is valid. Confirm the appropriate treatment and travel timing with your treating team.
What does this budget leave out?
Anything you have not entered: possible extra treatment, fare changes, visa or document fees, insurance, exchange fees, rehabilitation, repeat visits and longer stays. A quoted range and a reserve do not guarantee a maximum final cost.
What happens to my inputs?
The calculation runs in this browser tab. This tool does not send, store or add your entered amounts to a link. Resetting or reloading the page clears the worksheet. The site may count anonymous calculator use without the entered values.
